JULY/28/2009 - The Secret of Our Souls – A Kabalistic Love Story is a new musical based on the life of the Baal Shem Tov and his wife Chana.

Synopsis: A seeming bumpkin from the Carpathian Mountains ultimately reveals himself as the great 18th Century spiritual master, the Baal Shem Tov. Supported by his beloved soul-mate, Chana, he defies Church, State, and Satan himself to save his oppressed people.

Created by Ben Goldstein and his partner Phillip Namanworth, the musical has been invited to the prestigious NYC Fringe Festival. It will be performed at the well-known Minetta Lane Theater in the heart of Greenwich Village, 18 Minetta Lane (Between 6th Avenue and MacDougal St.) View flyer.
